At PP: Sixth UCL / Imperial, your students will attend the following interactive workshops:
1. The Personal Statement Masterclass: students will receive advice on how to plan, structure and write an outstanding personal statement during our 90-minute masterclass. Our presenter has over 30 years of experience in advising students and will lead your students through the ins and outs of personal statement writing. We guarantee that your students will walk away from our event with a draft statement which they can continue working on in school an d over the summer holidays.
2. Student Finance: a snap-shot of the latest changes in finance, the real cost of going to university, how repayments are calculated and tips on how to budget.
3. University Life: UCL / Imperial College, London will give students an overview of what it’s like studying at the university and how to select the right course and university.
4. Industry Workshops: students will have the unique opportunity to attend an industry workshop run by leading graduate employers in industries such as accountancy, investment banking, medicine, law, retail and teaching.
Eligibility criteria
- Students must attend a non-fee paying school
- Our events are open to students who are predicted a minimum of 3 Bs at A-Level or equivalent (300 UCAS Points)
- Must be interested in attending an industry workshop
